The Wisdom of Fingerprints in Jeju: IVY Fingerprint Research Institute, Veteran Branch Manager Kim Tae-eun Unveils the Future
The IVY Fingerprint Research Institute's Jeju Branch, nestled in a quiet alleyway in Jeju City, appears at first glance to be a clean and modest office. However, within its walls, extraordinary consultations are taking place that are shaping the future of Jeju residents. This is the 'fingerprint aptitude test,' a service that, with a single lifelong examination, identifies an individual's innate talents and potential, clarifying their career path and aptitudes. At the heart of this endeavor stands veteran fingerprint counselor Kim Tae-eun, the Jeju Branch Manager. The office visited by this reporter exuded an organized ambiance under warm lighting, clearly designed to allow visitors to comfortably share their stories. Here, Branch Manager Kim Tae-eun listens attentively to the concerns of countless individuals, identifying their latent strengths through the scientific data of fingerprints. "Fingerprints are like an unchanging, unique blueprint of a person. By analyzing the fingerprint patterns one is born with, we can clearly understand what areas they excel in and what learning methods are most effective," explained Manager Kim. Her explanation conveyed a deep understanding and conviction regarding fingerprints.

The IVY Fingerprint Research Institute Jeju Branch emphasizes that while fingerprint aptitude tests can be conducted from six months of age, more accurate and in-depth counseling is possible after a child reaches four years old, when cognitive development is sufficiently advanced. This reflects Branch Manager Kim's steadfast commitment to prioritizing the reliability of the tests and the quality of counseling. The cost for an individual test is 200,000 KRW, with a discounted rate of 180,000 KRW offered for group tests of 10 or more people, catering to the demands of families and school classes. This is widely perceived not merely as a cost, but as a lifelong investment in a child's future and the discovery of individual potential. Based on her extensive experience and expertise, Branch Manager Kim Tae-eun focuses on providing personalized solutions rather than simply delivering test results. "Some children possess exceptional artistic sensibilities, while others demonstrate strong logical thinking. By identifying these strengths in advance through fingerprints, we can reduce unnecessary trial and error and create an environment where children can fully realize their potential," she explained. Her voice conveyed a sincere desire for the children of the Jeju community to grow in the right direction.
